Anyone know if Flybe will be hiring any time soon? Has Flybe hired anyone recently - if so into which aircraft and at which bases?

Anyone out there fly the Q400 - looks like a nice aircraft to fly. How do you like it?

Cheers

FlyBe not hiring at the moment. Rumour has it they'll start again in September - if they can sort out the current basing problems they have.
Dash 400 is great to fly!

er82,

What basing problem are they having? People not wanting to go anywhere they're asked?

What are the likely requirements for Flybe?

Integrated/Modular prejudice?
MCC?

Integrated or modular. Doesn't seem to matter. Have taken on lots of low hr guys/gals previously so probably same requirements. Think they do want you to have MCC.

There is no preference for modular or integrated. The minimum requirements are fATPL and MCC. We have had a steady trickle of new F/O's coming on line every month or so but I think that these guys are from the holding pool. As said the next recruitment drive will be coming up soon (maybe). Base manning issues have to be sorted out before new pilots are hired I guess.

Cheers,

P.S. The Q400 is a great aircraft to fly.
