Good morning from a new to the board pilot!

Well, wannabe really.
I am looking for any assistance you can offer in the places to look for 'paid' employment flying.

I am 43, have an FAA CPL IR AMEL/ASEL (300hrs) gained 10 years ago with another 30 hrs in the last month. First class FAA medical. Large amount of gliding experience.
Degree in electronic engineering
I am British but can't get a JAR medical.

I don't reckon the airlines will be a workable solution but frieght, skydiver hauling, glider towing, and GA work would be of great interest anywhere in the world. Twin turbines would be ideal.

I am familiar with both glider and skydiving operations.

Am I pissing in the wind?

Good luck to all looking to hook up with the airlines.

G'day,
You have an FAA licence but can't get a JAR medical, so no JAR licence? If that's the case then that will limit your options in the UK/EU. You'll need to search for a N reg aircraft. Some options would be business jets.
Other than that, you may want to look at the Caribbean for operations there.
Asian operations usually accept an FAA or CASA ticket but they want a lot more hours.
You'll have to look pretty hard and you may not get what you want initially.
Good luck.
