Not sure if I totally believe this, but I know I don't believe the NTSB on how they say the tail came off. That is for sure. :ugh:

I know your tired of it Danny, but the NTSB report is BS. This is not spotter stuff. Think about the over 200 people on board that plane. They deserve perceverence. The tail coming off that plane in the way the NTSB says is BS and the whole world of structural aviation engineers knows it.
The mod that moved this thread, I request you reconsider. Cause it is going to happen again and again and again until people like you pull their head out of the sand.:ugh:

People can't keep pedaling garbage like this and expect it to be taken seriously. That some nutcases claim it was terrorism doesn't mean we have to take it seriously. There was no explosion, the tailfin came off, it was witnessed, there was no evidence of explosives. All that has been discussed to death is the mechanism of the fin detaching, and why. There was a wake vortex encounter. A little less aggressive pedalling of discounted possibilities would help us all focus on what actually happened, not daft conspiracy theories!

Your prolly right, though I an most of the engineers I work with do not believe the NTSB report. :)
