without knowing for sure, i'd suggest they are looking for pilots that know how to use their hands, with the ability to deal with customers.

From my experience is something all tradies know how to do, in addition they are usually older and paid their own way, therefore they know that flying offers the best office in the world and their worst day in an aeroplane could not go anywhere near their worst day as a builder, plumber, sparky, mechanic, etc etc.
