can i ask wat sort of camera / lens you used? my pics always seeem washed out from airshows !

Camera was Canon EOS D30, 75-300mm lens.

Great Pics, what mode do you have your camera in?

Guessing shutter priority, but at what speed? I am using the EOS300D and 75-300mm but can't seem to get the excellent colours that you are!

Trying to prevent blur with faster shutter is making my pics slightly too dark.

Jets were all at 1/500th to blur the background abit, and props at 1/250th.

Some of the cloudier pics came out dark, but I just lightened them in Photoshop using the Levels tool as I was unaware how to put any exposure compensation into the camera. I've since found out and will be over exposing when the clouds come over in future.
