WARNING: This is a tongue-in-cheek post!

Are CKS crews paid by the minute? I watched one of their 747s taxying to 36L at SPL the other day. Now, as those of you who know SPL, that's already a long hog. It amused me how despite this they broke all records for the slowest taxy speed! So, I reckoned the meter was already ticking, i.e. slow taxy = more bucks in pocket. ;)

If that is the correct company 3 letter identifier then YES. They are paid by the minute:} Also its easier on the brakes and tires if its a Long taxi. The company wacks pee pee's for blown tires.:E

Our investment banker mentioned yesterday that CKS was in play...ie: looking for a buyer with rather deep pockets.

Could it be true....again? :uhoh:

Not surprised, if they spend more time taxying then flying ;)
