Fuel arm in Cessna 150/152 POH ???

Could someone please tell me why I cannot find an "arm" for the fuel in a C150/C152 POH, but have to calculate it from an example in the book? some say it is 40.0 some say it is 42.2?

From my information manual relating to a 1980 C152,

Section 6 pages 4 and 7.

The arm for unuseable fuel (1.5 us gal) is 40.0.

The arm for the useable fuel is 42.0 for standard tanks and 39.5 for long range tanks.

The unuseable fuel figures are in the section on "airplane weighing procedures", the useable comes from the "Loading arrangements" plate.

All aircraft must be weighed and arm's/moments established for an individual aircraft! This must be done before the Certificate of Airworthiness is issued and is a condition of it. Such a report MUST always be available to the Pilot.

The actual Weight and Centre of Gravity Report/Schedule for the particular aircraft should consulted and be used. The Pilots Manual will be generic and will not take account of mods since leaving the factory (such as the later installation of long range tanks).

The fuel station for our C150K Aerobat that I own is 42.0 inches.
