As reported by the BBC!!!!
==============================================

A plane preparing to take off from Belfast International Airport has been involved in an accident with a service vehicle.
It is understood the stationary Easyjet aircraft was damaged when baggage was being loaded into the hold of the 0930 BST flight to Amsterdam on Monday.

An Easyjet spokeswoman described the incident as unfortunate.

None of the 139 passengers on board was hurt and alternative arrangements are being made to take them on their journey.

Passenger Paul Sharkey described how travellers found out what had happened.

"I knew the doors of the aircraft were closed and then my nephew said 'What was that?' he said.

"About 10 minutes after that the captain came on and told us that one of the service vehicles had crashed into the aircraft.

"We thought it was all rather strange because we were the only aircraft sitting there."

Engineers are currently assessing the damage to the aircraft.

Why was this moved, it seems like news to me, it was reported on the BBC.

There is a similiar thread in Airlines, Airports and Routes which was started after this thread and it is still there - why?
