Ok here is a strange one for all of you out there.

doing a break check, bleaded the pressure down to accumulator precharge by pumping the brakes, set parking brake, and turned on the B pump. the flaps were set at 40, as the pressure reached around 2400 psi the flaps cycled from 40 to 30 than back to 40 and stoped. We changed out the flap control valve and re rigged per maintenance manual, this seemed to fix it for a little bit but the problem returned. anyone ever hear of this happening

Could you give us a clue what sort of aircraft you are here referring to?

A B737 has a A and B system ( B Pump) and also has Flaps 30 and 40 Settings. Is it something to do with the flap load relief system for the flaps 40 setting??
