Since the Armed Forces forthcoming budget cuts are caused by the expense of the last Gulf War, why don't we start a poster campaign along the lines of:
SAVE THE FORCES BUDGET - DON'T FIGHT THE NEXT WAR

Privatise the armed forces.
If the government want us to do anything, charge 'em. Also we wont be tied to british industry. Not saying that its bad, but sometimes we do get some complete sh!!!

Don't get me started....alright then:
Of course war costs money but another SDR type cull isn't going to make the service more efficient if it its stretched already.
an incredible amount of money is hemorrhaged even before it gets to the poorly paid soldier, sailor or airmen.
Perhaps we should buy our own kit and pay HMG for the honour of service, that way they could spend even more on buying overpriced outdated kit that doesn't work, whilst shimpfing about how expensive we all are.
