I can't believe that a get together for beers has not been mentioned for the Air Tattoo weekend 16 - 18th July. I am there religiously every year and will be there as usual this year! If anyone is going and has any suggestions then thats have them!!

I'm hoping to be there (roster permitting)....all the best pavilions/enclosures will have been booked up months ago....but if enough are interested in meeting up we could nominate a spot to meet and avail ourselves of the many beer vendors that will be there.

Last time I was there, Breitling had a marquee and roped off area with seating....all you had to do to get in was show 'em you had one of their watches (if you haven't...they'll gladly sell you one!!!) they even gave me one of their baseball caps.

When I get roster I'll edit this post to say if I'll be there. Hopefully a Fairford bash will happen.

I would imagine there will be a few of us PPRUNEr's there!!

I'm planning on camping at one of the sites nearby with a couple of friends, so we'll be in staggering :\ distance of most beer tents!!!!

Looks like we're doing a charter in to Fairford on one of the days and that I will be flying it......so no beers :( ....... but I get in free! :E

Just had confirmation that we are definitely doing a charter into the tattoo from Cardiff on Sat 17th July.

Departs CWL around 07.00 and returns after the flying display ends.

Cost is £99.00.
