There seems to be a paucity of this kind of information out there. Where do people go to on the web, when you want to find out details such as Useful Load for your next plane ;)

You could try http://data.aopa2.org/pilotmag/aircraftdb/aircraftdb.cfm
but it's a bit US biased.
A copy of Jane's is also useful, but never believe the quoted basic weights - most aircraft I know are 50-100 lbs heavier

Stumbled across this (http://www.pilotfriend.com/main_frame/main_frame.htm) one and very few types are not listed.

What an excellent resource FD, more detail than the AOPA site and you have to pay for that kind of information on sites like Trade-A-Plane.
