I live pretty close to the runway in St. Maarten, and I have a great view of both the landing and departure.
I was just wondering how this airport is to fly into....the approach looks normal enough, maybe apart from landing with people that close (on the beach), and the departure sure looks different.
Also the lack of a taxiway, having to back taxi with someone else on approach...
If you see a small white helicopter buzzing around, that would be me...and I have already kept a couple of US Airways buses waiting....I'm sorry..
