Heard that there will be weekly flights from EMA to SSH (Sharm el Sheikh) in Egypt starting this winter flown by Thomas Cook. The first 3 weeks flown by A320 then the remainder operated by B757.

Anyone confirm and also any new routes been mentioned. I have heard a few but dont want to mention unless someone else has heard them.

Regard

Stu

Well there are 2 rumours - both can't be correct because they seem to contradict each other.

Rumour 1:

EMA to be a focus city - not a base, but flights to most FR bases, look out for CIA, BGY, HHN, etc

Rumour 2:

EMA to become an FR base this coming winter - 4 738s based initially.

My bet is with option 2

...thats funny

rumours abound of RYR setting up at Manchester as well....

NEMA being a part of the Man Airport Group.....
