I think that this seventies story of Lord Flasheart's twenty minuters, based on "Sagittarius Rising" and "Journey's End", is somewhat underrated amongst flying movies. It is shortly to be released on DVD. It's a pity that neither of the versions of "The Dawn Patrol" are available. The rubbishy "Blue Max" is, though. For a real classic, creating but transcending the POW genre (although without any flying), "La Grande Illusion" is available in a re-mastered print.
