I heard a rumor that the DGAC is going to start charging $13,000 US for each movement during the nocturnal hours for aircraft that do not have 5 dB margin to Chapter 3 limits. Any one else hear this? :ok: :ooh:
Go , to myboeingfleet.com and check out the airport directory, i believe that you will find this to be fact and not actually new.

Are you poking a hint as to whom I may work for? :E
eh, no...... myboeingfleet.com is available to most boeing operators and was an easier link than pointing you towards a dgac site..........
Point being that we were advised a number of years ago that we had a "baseline" of noisy aircraft, that had to reduce by 20% per year until we were below the limit. At this stage we cant operate any 3-5dba aircraft without paying a fine at night.
I wouldnt have thought that BRU was too far behind....

Thanks Mutt. Yes, but 13000 dollars per movement? I thought the fines were much less than that.
