Hi There,

Newbie here. I posted this on JALS as well.

Does anyone know of any Video support material for the JAR ATPL exams.
I have had the 'pleasure' of sitting and watching the King video course for the FAA CPL that I took last summer. I must say that it is useful having someone explain, in a graphic form, and work through some answers with you.

I know that Oxford are now producing for the PPL but are there any ones outthere?

Thanks

Ian

Not many but we are working on it
So far the CATS CRP-5 video is available from Pilotwarehouse, Pooleys and Transair.

Cranfield Aviation Training School are working on two HPL videos at the moment one on Physiology and one on Psychology.

You might be able to get the old PPSC videos still from Pilotwarehouse - Propellers is very good and you can get Jeppesen Aerodynamics videos also

ICAO and Shell produce a few but they are not JAA focussed

The Met videos of PPSC are hard to get hold of now - long but comprehensive
The Met CD of Met Office / Oxford is often quoted here as a replacement

If anyone else knows of others please add to the the list (but for a change don't degenerate the discussion)

Im just about to start flight planning ang g nav, I watched the CATS crp-5 video the other day in prep and found it very good and easy to follow.
The only prob was that there was a lot of "PAUSING" & "PLAYING"
