Three BA flights have diverted from LHR into Luton at around 1900 tonight. Anyone know why?

Sounds like more of what occurred last December at Luton when it was only the British Airways fleet that didn’t carry enough holding fuel for Heathrow. Last time it was due to a Tornado doing a quick flypast close to Heathrow that set the tills ringing at LTN.

Maybe to do with the fact that egll is (was) covered by a huge CB thunderstorm ,sheet ,fork lightning and heavy rain ....all heading towards lovely Luton!!
