Hi all. I have noticed that over the past few weeks I have been getting some emails that contain no information as to the sender, no subject or any message within the body. I've checked in the properties/detail to verify the above. Not only does this happen with downloaded emails but also when I try to view online at ISP site.
To use an analogy with snail mail; it's like getting an unaddressed envelope with no stamp and nothing inside.
Anyone know what could be going on here?

I filter with Mailwasher first, and sometimes see these blank messages. They appear to be failed spams if you look in properties. As spammers are determined to tinker with the real information to hide their identities, it would seem their ineptitude pays off with the sending of (presumably) thousands or millions of blank emails.

It could be just Spammers checking to see of your email address is valid.
