Hi all,

Has anyone got any pictures of Vampire T.11 XE985 which they'd be willing to let me have copies of please?

I have just acquired the aeroplane as a restoration project but am having trouble tracking down photos - it seems to be the least photographed Vampire ever!

Any help, and other history/information, would be most gratefully received.

It was part of a 5 FTS four-ship display team that appeared at Battle of Britain and other displays at RAF stations around 1959, so someone should have photographed it. I saw the team, but if I ever photographed them the results are long gone.

G, buy the book "D-H Vampire- The Complete History, by David Watkins. ISBN 1-84015-023-8. A good read on all marks of Vamp.
