There is no 'a' in Stansted. Hopefully the Govt. got this right as mis spelling could cause confusion :O

I gather part of the change is to call it London Stansted Glasgow Birmingham Nottingham International airport to allow easy jet to fly all of their flights from there :p :p :p

Stansted is often mis-spelt, even on Microsoft's MapPoint program it is spelt: Stanstead. Not sure why it is such a problem.

I have it on good authority that the BAA will shortly announce a name change to 'Sharon & Tracey International'!
I understand that there are still plenty of non prime slots available at Essex International, if these were allocated and used, the passenger figures would increase substantially.
