As the Brits know we now only allow crew onto the flightdeck or ID holders with the company's permission. What are the rules in the USA. Can you, for example, take your wife/ husband on a trip in the flightdeck?

The company that I work for stipulates that you must be flight deck qualified, i.e. conversant with the use of oxygen mask and radios, work for the company and be authorised by the vice president of flight operations. So that would be a big NO.
I guess that most other US carriers have a similar policy.

Sure you can........at the gate before push back or when your deplaning at the gate feel free come in and say hi!
