According to the easyJet website, there are flights between London STN and Rimini, has there ever been any press to cover this? I don't remember any.

Funnily enough though, there is no mention of Rimini on the route map.

On saying that, flights only seem to be operating during May and June??

Bologna is closing for runway repairs and so EasyJet are using Rimini on a temporary basis only.

As previously mentioned, during the months that Bologna Airport is closed, all of the EZY Bologna flights will be using Rimini Airport.

I do think there would be a market, however, for a once daily flight from one of the London bases to Rimini from May - September.

Rimini becomes very popular with German & Dutch tourists in these months, there's good weather & the capacity to handle more tourists that was introduced during the FR STN-RMI days. So far, noone has re-introduced flights to RMI from London, besides Volareweb who don't seem to be able to have a steady schedule or enough marketing to sustain a stable load factor.
