Groundstar to Swissport

It has been announced this today that Swissport have completed the buyout of Groundstar thus giving them a very strong foothold on vaious airports around the UK especially MAN.

I wonder how this will impact on the current Groundstar operations around the country and how much busier it will make them with an world wide name such as Swissport to call up on.

yep, all signed and sealed on 7th Apr, afaik for now groundstar will continue to operate as groundstar but doubt it will be long before its all change.

Hopefully the change will be for better not worse.
