Seen one of the new Easy A319s land at BFS tonight. Not sure what route it was being used on, but I wasn't aware that the 319s were being used outside Swiss Easy for the moment. Anyone know if this is to be routine, or just an aircraft providing cover?

There are a few easy a319's based at lgw now, so it is possible that it was operating a service from there!!

3 UK buses now based @ LGW. Interestingly, no GB flag just an EU one.

Noticed the "missing" flag as well, on G-EZEG.

8 aircraft to LGW this year, another 4 to SXF and 3 to DTM = 15 for 2004. :)

Looks like you will get to see more EZY A319s.

Scheduled to operate EZY739 EGKK-EGAA arriving @1930Z
Returning as EZY742 @2005Z.

Does anyone know if it's true that only 5 of the EZY A319s are to be based in Geneva? I have recently passed the CTC McAlpine selection, and am trying to predict probable airlines and bases! I have some friends that have just flown to NZ to start training, and they have got easyJet, based in Geneva. I wonder how many pilots they need out there...

Cheers, BigDunc :ok:

I saw them also operating to AMS from LGW yesterday. I THINK there was one into SS or GW as well.

Most routes served by LGW-based aircraft should be seeing the A319 either now or very shortly.

Currently EZS consists of only 5 aircraft (all GVA based) and there are no firm plans for this to change. Much will depend on future network development from GVA.

All A319's currently being delivered are for the EZY fleet.

EZS unlikely to expand. Has been stagnant at 5 a/c for years now. Airport costs are too high and EZY looking at other opportunities/deals. Seems to be effective stale-mate with the GVA airport authorities.

Correction to the above - 11 319s to LGW this year.

First 7, then a few months pause whilst Dortmund and Berlin kick off, then 4 more.
