Has FR got any B738 based at DUB??

I ask because their summer schedule has been loaded onto their site and the DUB-BOH route arrives at BOH and then operates the GIR route. Before returning to DUB. I would be really surprised if they downgrade the GIR-BOH route to a 130 seat 732. Forward bookings are pretty strong on this route.

Hope someone out there can shed some light on this. TA:ok:

I'm lead to beleive that from the 29th Apr 04 DUB will only have B732 based there with the odd rotation on the B738, which is a shame for us at LBA coz we were gonna upgrade to the B738 until this discision was made.

Also there flts have reduced to 3 a day Mon-Fri 2 on Sat and 2 on Sun, which its always been 4 on Mon/Fri/Sun.

But never mind.

The Dublin base for Ryanair only has Boeing 737-200s, as well as an assortment of Islandflug & Excel Airways aircraft that are operating whilst some of the 737-200s are parked up, although I'm not sure how long the leasing of other carriers' aircraft will remain.

From what I know, some of the 737-200s are set to remain for the 2004 Summer season and the 2004/2005 winter season, but I'm not sure what will happen after that, whether there will be 737-800s replacing these, or some of the buzz stansted -300s which are on lease for quite some time.

This summer DUB will be only B732 without any B734 from Islandflug that if I'm not wrong left DUB last week. In any case today on LiseLine there weren't any B734 from Islandflug in the schedule.
DUB will get 10 B732 based. Than 1 B732 will be in LTN, 1 in SNN and this summer only 2 in STN.

Is there anyway of knowing which aircraft will be used for a particular flight? Does it have something to do with some flight numbers being 3 digits and others 4?? Just a thought?

OAG or any other schedule usually prints aircraft type - 733, 738 etc, but these are obviously subject to change & not always 100% accurate in the first place
