Could someone please inform me where the Cathay Freighter typically flies out of SYD ?
What are the pilot pattern lines like?
How much time would you spend away from home on an average trip?
Thank you .:ok:

1. Hong Kong,

3. CX would love to get rid of the battalions of expensive Ozzie crew mooning around Barad dur as they can't get back to Gods country on their days of.........:{ :{

Gents are working not that hard, biggest problem is continual roster disruption.

General pattern is SYD-MEL overnight MEL HKG overnight HKG NRT
overnight NRT TPE HKG hang around and then pass home same night

reality is no real idea what you are doing away for 8 to 9 days each pattern home for 5 days and off you go.

Lots of problems again with the classic operation, but guys you work with are good and not hard to find a cold beer somewhere?
Cheers

Tired aeroplanes and crews down the track for far too long. Ask why all the captains bid to go onto the pax aircraft as F/O's last year. Excessive command failures makes for an interesting environment.

However with all the mainline retirees coming onstream on the freighter life is going to be great isn't it? .:cool:

The only constant is change ;)

TOPC, given your post on Tech Log...are you applying to CX. If so, let us know....you 'may' get some less cynical/playful answers.

If you know of SYD classic route changes...please tell us? Aussietruckdriver has already given you everything we know
:)
