any one got the latest on Virgin's plans to fly LHR-SYD...?

They originally said they would be launching mid-year and then there was some interference about CX's LHR-USA access in the same deal.

I've been looking out in the usual places like Flight, but haven't seen any update for a few months, any ppruners got the latest scoop..?

It is still awaiting EU regulatory approval. Subject to that, it is scheduled to start in October 04.
