Im flying with Air China soon LHR-MEL. Just a bit dubious as to the levels of service the airline offers and the ease of connections from their main base at beijing ( PEK ) .
Is the inflight catering up to standard ?

Can anyone offer any info ?

Connection I took to Xi'an was very good - far higher standard than the LHR-BJS part. Only drink & peanuts catering wise but ok for a sub 2hr flight. Clean & fairly new aircraft.
