Caught the back end of a BBC news item today talking about a new low-cost long-haul carrier (UK?). Anyone got any rumours/news?

It could be that the sarcasm has been lost on me but Zoom is actually owned by the two British brothers that sold Direct Holidays a couple of years ago, and they intend to feed the routes with a British holiday company.

Zoom are starting a weekly scheduled Stansted-Vancouver wef 15 May. This is in addition to LGW ops.
