B747-200 seems to be a noisy beast to operate out of Brussels these days...............Think that you may find that its replaced with MD-11F aircraft once a very large consignment of horses are moved.

Nope, disagree
Schedule shows B742F, the Rolls Royce "Stage 3" quiet one.
MD11F was orig planned.

That nice Rolls Royce "Stage 3" quiet one has a accumlative noise delta of 5.01 dBa. The Beligiums dont like it, nor do the French especially at night.

MD11 was originally planned, replaced by the horse requirement for the month of April, will then go back to MD11.

Guess that we will have to wait until May to see what actully happened.... :):)

The FRENCH dont link anything B747-200 wise JT9D or RR or CF6 anything - always cause to complain.
I consider the RR to be the best neighbour to have!
