Other than the new bmi routes from LHR to ABZ, INV and NAP and of course the launch of YYZ and the Carribean from MAN, anybody any ideas of the charter destinations bmi will be serving?

They always have a reasonable charter presence at GLA. This year they will serve Italy - ( Verona, Pisa ), Greece ( Zakynthos and Rhodes ), Spain ( Palma, Ibiza), Faro. There has been unconfirmed mention of Dubrovnik this year also.:)

Never mind using the A319's for Long-Haul, how about getting them to replace those DREDFUL Fokker 100's first! :ugh:

Flight said that the 319s were to replace the F100s on MME-LHR, and operate on LHR-BRU as part of their "Blue Sky" cost cutting plan, I don't remembering reading anything about a 319 long-haul op though!

It's in the issue dated 16-22 March and they are also studying 737-700X for long-haul; if they go-ahead, whatever's chosen will operate from regional airports (but not MAN) in due course. For winter, there are possible services to India whilst they are evaluating South Africa and China (also reports that a 4th A330 may be added in the "near term").
