alitalia operated its last B747F flight on 15 Feb 04 ex MXP...and on that sad day there was also a kind of celebration for the last Italian Jumbo :{

Is that true? then what are they going to fly to Karachi, newspapers reported its going to be a 747F.

yes, unfortunately it's true, now Alitalia is operating MD11F and is converting the pax MD11 in their fleet at Aeronavali in Venice and in Naples. Morover a couple of B747F from Atlas are flying for Alitalia ex MXP and FCO...
