My company will start flying into Tbilisi airport this summer, using the 737-900.
I was wondering what kind of rotation the BA crews have on this route, and what type of a/c is used.
Anything special to this airport?
Regards.

Thanks so far.
Anybody with personal experience flying into Tbilisi?
I guess we`re starting operations because the newly elected first lady there is Dutch!
Did the BMed (pax) trip regularily there a few years ago. Definitely not the best layover, esp in the winter.
Tiblisi (sp?) is a strange place, they were using an ex Helo turbine exhaust for de-icing at that time. Interesting equipment parked in the grass.
As far as I can remember the approach is fairly straightforward, little terrain etc.
Try and talk to the BMed guys for better info.
:ok:
