Hi there

Can anyone out there give any pointers, albeit it first hand experience or third party stories as to different training schools about the place whom offer the A320 Type rating which can then be put on the FAA ATP(A).
Europe/US/Canada or anywhere in between...
I'm doing some window shopping of note and would appreciate any advice...
Cheers!

Try Pan Am Academy in MSP, they offer A320 TR and are approved by the FAA as TRTO.

You can also check with UAL Training Center in DEN, I am not sure if they offer TR for "outhouse" customers, but it is worth a try.

There shoul also be some TRTO in Europe but if you need the TR on your FAA license then check in the states.

Pan Am could very well be the worst place I ever completed training. I would NOT reccomend them at all.

Thanks for all the input.
The more input there is the better informed we can all be.
i'm all ears to anyone that has had good or bad experiences with TRTO's...
Thanks again in advance:sad:

If you get a A320 TR in the US/FAA can you put this on a CAA ATPL licence or do you need a conversion to operate under JAR?

Similar question if you obtain the rating in Australia or South Africa?
