ANY pilot who can master the B707-138B (with its tail wagging parrallel yaw damper...OFF at 1000agl, like it or not, and many didn't:{ ) has an ace up his sleeve.

Many years ago was asked about flying this machine LGAT-KHOU and advised that they would be dry tanks by KFLL...and so they found out one year later..nearly. Landed with 3000 pounds remaining, and lucky to be alive.

As I found out here a few years ago, the Prince of Wales ran off the runway at Islay in a BAe-146 whilst going to get a 50th birthday ceremonial cask of Laphroaig. Hope John Travolta's luck is better!

I'm jealous of the guy for one thing only..........

I know one of the blokes who flew with him in the right hand seat is a ppruner so it could be that JT knows about this site.
QAR ASR..... Why bother posting if you have nothing constructive to say? If you don't like the guy/this thread than stay away from it. Leave it to people who respect the guy and there are loads out there whether you like it or not.
