Hi all,

Can someone confirm to me whether this aircraft has an auto retraction feature for spoileres and flaps after landing.

I guess this would be based on speed reducing to an appropriate level.

Many thanks,

On the ground, no, the DC10 doesn't.
The ground spoilers will only retract automatically after landing, assuming they have extended, if TOGA thrust is applied (eg) in the case of a baulked landing. This is a feature common to most a/c and not just the DC10. Otherwise, you have to stow them manually.

The flap overspeed protection is only operative in flight for settings >22 degs.

I have never heard of any airplane having an "automatic flap retraction" feature after landing. Some airplanes with hydraulically actuated flaps as the DC8, for example, (as opposed to jackscrew pósitioned flaps) have a flap blow-back feature if flap limitation speeds are exceeded.
