Hi, I am a low houred PPL who intends to join an ATPL distance learning course late this year or early 05. Could someone recommend one or two books that could give me a good head start especially in the areas not introduced in the PPL syllabus.

Thanks

blackwell do a series of books called ground studies for pilots. There are 4 books, of which i have the general nav and meterology, as i find that having something written in a different way is sometimes useful if you dont understand it very well.

They are avilable from the blackwells web site for abut 25-30 quid each.
