Heard rumours that someone is importing several 757 into Canada. One story is Cargo Jet and they are getting into the pax market, another is KFC is getting them to do Conquest tours contracts and the other is Sky Service is bringing them in to increase their fleet. Does anyone know the real story to what's going on. As well any truth to AC picking up some more leased 744's. Hopefully the rumours are true and things are slowly on the mend:ok:

If it is Cargojet I would be surprised. It would seem more likely a KFC thing if anyone.

However, who knows? This is the only place I have heard anything about CJ getting 757's for passenger flying, although there are plenty of other rumours swirling at CJ right now.

Another rumour about CJ was about a DC-10-30 freighter for Europe runs. Any truth?

KFC are using a 737(wet lease???)at the present for holiday charters.Talk of Sky' acquiring 737-300 for the range.
Sky,at present only own one 757,but use wetlease a/craft for the winter overflow(traffic)from the west coast /prairies.
AC to retain 6/747(due for layoff)...:D

Nothing flying around at CJ about a DC-10 to Europe, although it is clear it is going to happen in the future.

the 757's for KFC is a rumour and that is all to it. 757's are in high demand again and hardly any are for sale for a reasonable price. I was not aware that the Signature contract was up, rather Conquest is looking for new partners.
