Purely in the interests of research for a PPRuNe bash next year, PW and I recently checked out what Jersey had to offer. How does the first weekend in May sound? Being a bank holiday, there's no excuse for staying that extra day either... This (http://www.dolanhotels.com/somerville/index.html) is the hotel we have in mind. They are happy to arrange transfers from the airport and have a function room available. The bar prices are very reasonable and the choice of whisky is excellent.
