Hola my dear Spanish friends.

In the coming months I will be flying in and out of a small airfield with no ATC (LEAX - La Axarquia 'Leoni Benabu'). I'm told few of the local pilots speak any English, so to aid safety I need some translation of the basic calls so that I may warn other pilots of my intentions.

Gracias for your translation of the following list of words, and any other advice you might have about GA aviation, particularly of helicopters, in Spain.

Hi Dantruck,

Without willing to correct the previous translation you've been given...

Taxi You can also hear "Rodaje" as a noun or "Rodar" as a verb:

"calle de rodaje" for "taxiway" or "Ruede punto de espera pista 14" for "Taxi to holding point runway 14"

Hover taxi "Rodaje aéreo"

Hope it helps.
Enjoy your stay ;)
