Scientists in Japan have discovered a new species of baleen whale, which feeds by filtering seawater.

The discovery of a large species of mammal is rare, but Dr Tadasu Yamada of Tokyo's National Science Museum said in the journal Nature that genetic tests have confirmed that the whale, named Balaenoptera omurai, was new to science.

They'l hunt it to extinction for 'scientific research'...unfortunately having to eat the remains as they have no method of disposing of it in the whole of Japan...just like they do already with other whales

To quote Prince Phil the Greek:
"If it has four legs and isn't a chair, has wings that aren't metal and swims but is not a submarine, they will eat it."

Or maybe that was the Chinese he was refering to?
