Although this article (Sat 18/10) was about private flying, I've posted here as this may also be of interest to the professionals.

Basically a very readable feature about the 'Swords' syndicates at North Weald and how they operate jet trainers (Strikemasters and Provosts.)

No hysterics, just some telling points such as the difference between amateurs operating professionally and amateurish behaviour and the substantial amount of training required to operate in this synidcate.

All in all, a very good piece of journalism that is very readable without being sensational and demonstrates how we are good neighbours.

Somewhat off topic but isn't "Good Article in the Daily Mail " an oxymoron?

Well Firefly Bob and Anti skid, the next time you're outraged by sensationalism, don't expect any sympathy from me :)

This article was good - sadly not on the mail website so I can't sut a link.

I'd be shocked if they did, as apparently the internet is a haven for terrorists and pornographers.
