Barra boys (or girls)

A friend of mine at BBC Scotland is planning a radio programme about 'things you can do in four minutes' (yes, thank you at the back there). One she was considering was 'landing at Barra', which is a nice Scottish thing to do.

Anyone out there fly into Barra, and could have a quick chat to her via email or whatever?

You need to get hold of the Loganair ops department at Glasgow, the Twin Otter goes out there virtually every day, as I recall, one of their younger female crew is from Barra and watching the otter land on the beach got her into aviation

...or how about flying from Westray to Papa Westray - that only takes 2 minutes!!

Yeah get in touch with Loganair at Glasgow.

The young female FO did get interested in flying via watching the twin otter land on the beach and her brother is also a Captain on the same route! ( Both from Barra, which would make good material for the BBC)
