Have you checked the serviceability of your flight deck smoke goggles recently?
I have, and goggles manufactured by Intertechnique called EROS (part no MXP 210-00) have elastic securing straps that are too long for the average head. The straps also have a habit of perishing after a very short period in service. Not much use in smoke when they end up round your neck.
Makes you wonder who approved them.
