Who really knows....they drive me insane....I email my application and post my application EVERY week I've spent hundreds of dollars on applications and have not heard ANYTHING from at all. Yes i have included the photo etc and applied online.

I would assume you would get a letter phone call and email.

Yes I agree with you Red Rat. I am very disappointed with EK's recruitment processes. I have applied so many times and have not had a single bit of correspondance. In Sydney I went to the open day and got right through to the end - only to be dropped before final interviews. In Perth - we didn't even get the luxury of being seen. "We will call you" they said. What !

EK are such a good airline and I believe they are missing out on many dedicated and truely professional people who are hopelessly applying online and by mail. I have flown with them and most cabin crew have been wonderful, except on the last flight I took - where one hostess couldn't muster a single smile the whole 10 hours. How do they choose the right people? What do they look for because I would be very interested to know what their criteria are!

They hold open days all around the world, but do not follow the same guidelines. Sometimes everyone gets a fair go, other times no one gets a go, and then after that there are the very lucky individuals who are invited. Like I have said - I have been offered interviews and work with 4 other great airlines, yet have never been given a chance in 2 years of trying with EK. I think it is just the luck of the draw.

Obviously I am not trying to insult or upset anyone that may work for EK, as you are truely doing a fantastic job. The airline is exceptional. I would just love the chance, as many others do - to be seen.

I've worked for them for a while and had problems getting to know if I had passed the interview-rang Dubai in the end and was told I had! No word from them until then
If you get the job and move out here-you'll know that everything is 'tomorrow' and you have to nag to get things done!

thank you for the replies. that sounds interesting.
i submitted my application yesterday, let's see what happen.... i hope i'll get a response.
i received an automatic respose and part of the message saying " if you have not receive a response from us within 5-6 weeks please assume that on this occasion your application has been unsuccessful."
so by nov if i have not receive a response, which means my application's unsuccessful. fingerscross!

good luck to all of us.
