I kept hearing a twin, rather loudly, whilst at work during the early hours of this morning flying the 08R approach. Was it ILS calibration time?

Hi,
It could have been a Beech Super King Air 200 that is used to calibrate the ILS systems at UK airports.

Indeed it does, it is 08L that does not (the so called emergency runway I think)
