Believe they are also aquiring a 757-200 for the start of the winter season.

Hi,

Yes, they will operate the 757 initially to Alicante, Lanzarote, Malaga and Tenerife.

Latest news: The 767 is to be based in New Castle and a 757-200 will be based in Manchester.

The 767 will also operate the first ever Newcastle-Durban flights on behalf of tour operator CT2. I understand that the aircraft will refuel at Las Palmas both ways.

Hi,

Will AV8's 767 have the typical "charter" configuration of 2-4-2 like Britannia and Air 2000?

Thanks

I understand that 2 UK charter airlines have formally objected to the use of Icelandic 767's on the basis that they have surplus capacity available.

This might change the aircraft the AV8 use.

I know that one of the airlines has already withdrawn their objection
