I was unable to go to the PFA AGM.

Did anyone from this forum attend and give any pointers on the issues discussed?

Especially in light of the letter all PFA members received from the parting President Lord Trefgarne, who judging by the letter, was not very happy with the going's on in the Association.

Firstly, I fear I must reflect the widely held view that the Executive Committee is not as effective as it should be. Occasionally EC members seem more interested in their personal agenda that in the wider interests of the Associaiton. Too often major decisions are either delayed or torpedoed by minority dissident factions............

and,

I must also sadly report that relations between the EC and Engineering Department have steadily deteriorated in recent years...........

Try reading the two large threads on the PFa bulletin board, there are bits and pieces of information there.

The guist of it - no ifreworks and Colin Mitchell will not be seeking re-election
