Does anyone know of anything regarding Aviance setting up as the third handling agent at Newcastle? Apparantly tenders are being invited from the airport authority and what with Groundstars proposed strike action, surely airlines would be clapping their hands at having a choice of three handling agents?
If they manage to set up a farcical shambles like they have at BHX then the only clappling you will hear is when a ground agent manages to get to your aircraft less than 15 minutes after arriving on stand.
In my opinion Aviance seem to specialise in taking over smaller handling agents/setting up new stations, and running them into the ground, lose all the business and then finally close them down.
The words "corporate suicide" come to mind. They are the only company I know who have made an art form out of crisis management!!
